Join us for April 8 Easter Sunday, at HHUMC, instead of regular Sunday School, we will have activities for the kids and an outside Easter egg hunt. Due to a numerous number of children with food allergies, we will not be filling any of the Easter eggs with candy. The eggs will be filled with stickers, silly bands, bouncy balls, erasers etc. A collection box for plastic Easter eggs and prizes to fill the eggs will be set up in the fellowship hall.
Free Tax Help
The free tax return preparation and free e-filing site will be open at HHUMC every Saturday from 9:00 to 4:00. The last day for tax help will be Saturday, April 7.

Outreach Committee will meet on Sunday, April 22 at 11:30 am in the church library.
In celebration of Mother’s Day this year, Outreach committee invites all of you to again help in collecting items for the Indian Women’s Mission on Indian Island, Old Town. Indian Women’s Mission was founded over forty years ago to help female members and families of the Penobscot Nation on Indian Island and in surrounding areas. Here is your chance to help, there will be a cradle on the altar beginning April 15 through Sunday, May 6. Items needed are: cloth and disposable diapers, baby clothes, including homemade hats and booties, receiving blankets, nursing supplies, and bath items. Any other item you can think of that new mom and infant would need. The church outreach committee will hold a baby shower in the fellowship hall on May 13 (Mother’s Day). This is an exciting and practical way to help those in our communities.

Please join us as we burn some sneaker rubber for the Hike for the Homeless on Saturday, April 28 starting at Hampden Academy, 1 Main Road. Registration starts at 8 am, walk begins at 9:45 am to the Bangor Waterfront. This is one the biggest fundraisers for the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter.
Please join us for a VBS meeting on Sunday, April 29 after worship in the 3rd/4th grade classroom. VBS-This year’s vacation bible school theme is Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity. Dates are: Sunday, July 15-Thursday, July 19 from 6 pm to 8 pm. We will kick off VBS with a cook-out at 5 pm on July 15.
