One Great Hour of Sharing-March 18, 2012
For more than seventy years, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, UMCOR for short, has brought hope to communities at home and abroad. UMCOR is about being there in time of disaster, as well as providing support and expertise to those on a path of development. The relief supply ministry is part of UMCOR’s efforts of volunteers that help put together relief kits, cleaning buckets. The One Great Hour of Sharing gifts lay the foundation for UMCOR to continue in their ministry. This means that all gifts designated to specific programs can go to 100 % to those programs because UMCOR’s basis expenses are covered. For more information: http://www.umcgiving.org/giveOGHS.
