Advent Study four week study “Shine! Light for All People’s by Patricia Farris, will begin on November 27, we will meet at 9 am on Sunday mornings.
This Sunday, November 27 is Methodist Student Sunday. Special offering envelopes will be in the bulletin.
This Sunday, November 27, Mt. View Choir “Carols in the Round 2011” concert in the Sanctuary at 4 pm. Please join us. Items are needed to make bagged meals for the choir members-deli meats, cheeses, chips, crackers, fruit and desserts.
The Youth group would like to say thank you to all those who donated items and money to ship the boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The Youth group packed 20 boxes. This is great mission work from HHUMC. Youth Group will leave early from church today to deliver Operation Christmas Child boxes to the drop off point in Winterport. There will be an all church meeting on Sunday, December 18 following 10 am worship. The agenda is as follows: budget for 2012 and nominating committee slate for the class of 2014.
Christmas Pageant will be held on Sunday, December 18 at 4:30 pm with a reception to follow. Practices and rehearsal for the pageant will take place during normal Sunday School time during the month of December. Sunday school will not meet Sunday, December 25.
HHUMC is hosting the Mt. View Singers “Carol in the Round 2011” next Sunday, November 27 at 4 pm. Once again, we will be making bagged meal for the Mt. View singers. The following items are needed: deli meat, cheese slices, bread/rolls, condiments, fruit, chips/pretzels, cookies or brownies. Please leave items in the kitchen before the concert.
This year’s pageant will be the “The Reluctant Innkeeper” and will be held on Sunday, December 18th at 4:30 pm. Please join us for the pageant and for refreshments afterwards.
There will not be Sunday School on Sunday, December 25 Christmas Day.

Confirmation classes will begin in mid-January and will be held for 16 weeks. We will be using a new confirmation curriculum called “Credo”. Reeni Cipullo is hoping to have confirmation classes from 9 am to 11 am. If you are interested in being confirmed or to be a mentor for a child being confirmed please let Reeni know.
