Announcements

 ECUMC is hosting an indoor yard sale and bean supper on Saturday, September 10. Indoor yard sale will be from 9 am to 12 noon and again from 4 pm to 6 pm. “All You Can Eat” Bean supper will be from 4:00 pm to 6 pm. ECUMC is located at 796 Lebannon Road, Winterport.

Administrative Council will meet Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30 pm. Agenda: pastoral compensation 2012.

Please join us on Saturday, September 17 for a church potluck for HHUMC and ECUMC from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by the Annual Charge Conference for HHUMC will be held at 7 pm. HHUMC’s SPRC will meet at 6:00 pm with D.S. Dr. Rev. Pat MacHugh.

Finance Committee will meet Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30 pm. Agenda: plan for fall stewardship campaign.

Have you ever tasted “bean hole” beans? Well, here is your chance on Saturday, September 24 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at HHUMC.

Outreach Committee is collecting food for the Hampden Neighborhood Food Cupboard throughout September.

Sunday School Rally Day & Sunday School registration will be this Sunday September 11th. Our new director of Christian Formation Reeni Cipullo will be available after church and rally to answer questions anyone may have about the new Live BIG curriculum. If anyone is interested in being a Sunday school teacher or helper please email Reeni at maureen.cipullo@yahoo.com or call her on her cell at 659-459.

Youth Group Mess Fest has been moved to Sunday, September 18. Contact Elizabeth Clark at 745-0952 or violinlizzy@aim.com. See insert for more information.

Volunteers are needed to help out with mess fest for the following shifts:

Set- up  3-4:15.

Clean up from 7-8:30.

6 (24 oz) Sour Cream
3 (24 oz) Cottage cheese
2 Tin Foil Cookie Sheet (15×10 ¼ x ¾)
Small Squirt guns at least 12
2 (1.5 L) bottles of Mouth wash
Thick Rope for Tug of War
 
2 Sterilite 12-Quart Ultra Dishpan (16″L x 12″W x 6″H)-Wal-Mart
1 rectangle inflatable pool
96fl oz bottle of Vegetable oil (Wal-Mart)
2 (5 Gallon) bucket
